Oliver

Oliver, wild at times, almost ferrel, watches for a moment to enter the cat door of the recording studio on Lookout Farm in the Catskills. A look in his eyes and I see myself: afraid to trust people, almost desperate to connect, ridgid by past experiences. I love animals.

Oliver bit me and drew blood. I worried he had rabies because he died soon after.

His bite was a gift: Don't always assume others want your love and attention or even that they need you. I'm so self-centered to think I'm needed and myself always comes back to bite me!

Fire Rainbow

I was told that this "Fire Rainbow" is the rarest of all naturally occuring atmospheric phenomena. Cirrus clouds must be at least 20K feet in the air, with just the right amount of ice crystals present, and then the sun must hit these crystal ladden clouds at precisely 58 degrees for the phenomena to occur. This photo was captured on the Washington/Idaho border.

Seems that each of us is a "Fire Rainbow". How miraculous when our beauty is captured.

Northern Lights over Yellow Knife Canada

These are photos of the Northern Lights over Yellow Knife Canada. The remind me of some of the very happiest moments of my life which were when I was camping with Bob. Hikes, bike rides, swimming in spring waters, campfires, delicious meals, hugs, loving under blankets, showers in the mooonlight, sweat lodges, skinny dipping, wild bird calls, raccoons, moose, loads of real talk...a full life. I love Bob.
